The Year was 1903 where Charles Rattray opened his first shop in Perth. It was then one of the largest tobacco companies on the British Isles. Rattray's Tobacco has been well known ever since with his own blending recipe even till this day.

As time passed, Rattray's company slowly faded, Kohlhase & Kopp a Germany company took over to save its rich history of the European pipe and tobacco tradition. Rattray's pipes today are even more impressive as they are made from different companies around Europe. Rattray's legacy continues to expand further than what Charles Rattray would have thought possible producing pipes made of high quality material and its excellent craftsmanship we know of today.
